Cooking Classes at Williams-Sonoma

I'm having a ball! Signed up for three classes at Williams-Sonoma with Chef Margaret Schaum (of Good Eats). Have two more classes scheduled.

An Autumn Dinner Party consisted of Mushroom Crostini , Stuffed Acorn Squash , Rosemary-Sage Pork Tendeerloin with Pancetta
and, Maple-Pecan Pie

Delicious!

Next up, tonight (10/30) - Braises, Stews, and Chowders. I'm going for the Beef Stroganoff and Seafood Stew with Endive Chowder (I just can't get my beef stroganoff right) and we're also making Braised Soy-Ginger Chicken and Bok Choy. Will keep everyone posted.

And last for this year will be Technique: All About Roasting. We'll make Roasted Olives, Baby Spinach and Roasted Beet Salad, Egg Noodles with Roasted Squash, Roasted Chicken with Cipollini, and Honey-Pecan Roasted Pears. I'm going for the Honey-Pecan Roasted Pears (which I'm thinking of prepared for Thanksgiving along with Sweet Potato Pie, and in place of the Apple Pie?, oh hell who am I kidding - in addition to the Apple Pie - LOL!

Will post pics after the classes.
